Patrick Bischop was witness in Perth, 1551 (Rottok, 88). Mr. James Bischope was minister at Inverness, 1610 (flee. Inc., n, p. 76), James Bishop was guild-brother of Glasgow by purchase, 1624 (Burgesses), and Francis Bischope was burgess of Inverness in 1627 (RPC., 2. ser. n, p. 9).
