Charles Chong You Fook ( born 24 June 1953) is a former Singaporean politician. Chong retired as Deputy Speaker of Parliament, and MP for Punggol East SMC following his retirement from politics after 32 years on 23 June 2020.
A former member of the country's governing People's Action Party (PAP), Chong was a Member of Parliament representing Punggol East Single Member Constituency (SMC), and was the Acting Speaker of Parliament for a month, following the resignation of former Speaker Halimah Yacob on 7 August 2017. He was previously Chairman of the National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) Council, which governs the NPCC and National Civil Defence Cadet Corps.
