Christopher James Evans (born 1 April 1966) is an English television presenter, radio DJ, businessman, voice actor and producer for radio and television. He started his broadcasting career working for Piccadilly Radio, Manchester, as a teenager, before moving to London as a presenter for the BBC's BBC Radio London and then Channel 4 television, where The Big Breakfast made him a star. Soon he was able to dictate highly favourable terms, allowing him to broadcast on competing radio and TV stations. Slots like Radio 1 Breakfast and TFI Friday provided a mix of celebrity interviews, music and comic games, delivered in an irreverent style that attracted high ratings, though often also generated significant numbers of complaints. By 2000 he was the UK's highest paid entertainer, according to the Sunday Times Rich List. In the tax year to April 2017, he was the BBC's highest-paid presenter, earning between £2.2m and £2.25m annually.
In 2005, he started a new career on BBC Radio 2, hosting his long-running Drivetime programme in April 2006, before moving in 2010 to host The Chris Evans Breakfast Show every weekday morning. He previously presented The One Show on Fridays between 2010 and 2015. Between 2011 and 2018, he co-hosted Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park.
In 2015, Evans signed a three-year deal to lead a new Top Gear line-up and presented a revival series of TFI Friday. On 4 July 2016, he announced that he would be stepping down as presenter of Top Gear.

Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor. Known for his role as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Evans began his career with roles in television series, such as in Opposite Sex in 2000. Following appearances in several teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie, he gained attention for his portrayal of Marvel Comics character Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four, and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels: TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), and Snowpiercer (2013).
He portrayed Steve Rogers / Captain America in several MCU films, namely Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), and Captain America: Civil War (2016), and the ensemble films The Avengers (2012), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). His work on the Marvel series established him as one of the world's highest-paid actors.
Aside from comic book roles, Evans starred in the drama Gifted (2017), the mystery film Knives Out (2019), and the television miniseries Defending Jacob (2020). He made his directorial debut in 2014 with the romantic drama Before We Go, which he also produced and starred in. Christopher Bruce Evans (September 14, 1946 – May 9, 2000) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He played in the National Hockey League with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Sabres, St. Louis Blues, Detroit Red Wings, and Kansas City Scouts. He played in the World Hockey Association with the Calgary Cowboys, Birmingham Bulls, and Quebec Nordiques.
In his NHL career, Evans appeared in 204 games. He scored eleven goals and added 51 assists. He also played in 241 WHA games, scoring nineteen goals and adding 42 assists.

Christopher Brian Evans (born 13 October 1962) is a Welsh former professional footballer, who after playing, has pursued a successful career in professional football coaching. His most recent coaching role was that of assistant manager at Sheffield Wednesday, which ended on 30 March 2012 by mutual consent.
Evans started his career at Arsenal, before joining Stoke City in 1981. After failing to make any appearances he joined York City in 1982, where he made over 100 appearances. He joined Darlington in 1985 and played for them until 1987. After joining Wolverhampton Wanderers as Academy manager in 1991, he left in 2007 to become assistant manager at Bolton Wanderers. He had a spell as caretaker manager at Bolton, taking charge for one match in 2010.
