Ed Lee (ice hockey)
Edward Hubert Lee (born December 17, 1961) is an American former professional ice hockey player who played two games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Quebec Nordiques. Traded to the Minnesota North Stars in 1985. Played for the Fredericton Express and the Springfield Indians in the American Hockey League.
In 1987 he moved to Germany and joined the ESC Ahaus playing in the German Oberliga Nord for one season. The next season (1988/89) the ESC Ahaus was degraded by request to the NRW Liga (two leagues lower). Lee left the club early before the end of this season because of personal reasons and went back to the US.

Edwin Mah Lee ( May 5, 1952 – December 12, 2017) was an American politician and attorney who served as the 43rd Mayor of San Francisco from 2011 until his death in 2017, he was the first Asian American to hold the office.
Born in Seattle to Chinese-American parents, Lee was a member of the Democratic Party. He took office as San Francisco city administrator in 2005 and was appointed on January 11, 2011, by the Board of Supervisors to serve out the remaining term of former mayor Gavin Newsom after Newsom resigned to become Lieutenant Governor of California. On November 8, 2011, he won the election to serve a full term as mayor. He was reelected in 2015 and served until his death on December 12, 2017.
