George Henderson (Manitoba politician)
George Lindsay Henderson (March 18, 1916 – June 4, 2008) was a politician in Manitoba, Canada. He was a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 1969 to 1977.
Henderson was educated in the Manitoba school system, and worked as a farmer and real-estate agent. He also served as Mayor of Manitou, Manitoba, and was a President of Manitoba Co-operative.
He was first elected to the Manitoba legislature in the 1969 election, defeating Liberal Kenneth Draper by 1008 votes in the rural, southern riding of Pembina. He was re-elected by a much greater margin in the 1973 election, as Liberal support declined in rural areas. The NDP were in government during this period, and Henderson was an opposition MLA throughout his time in the legislature. He did not seek re-election in 1977.

George Roland Henderson (10 November 1935 – 5 May 2020) was a Canadian politician, shellfish technician, farmer and electrical engineer. He served as a Liberal party member of the House of Commons of Canada.
Born in Freeland, Prince Edward Island, Henderson was the son of R. Edgar Henderson and Hazel Edna Hardy, and was educated at Prince of Wales College. In 1960, he married Brenda Jane Matthews.
He was president of Malpeque Oyster Cultures Inc. Henderson represented 2nd Prince in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island from 1974 to 1980 as a Liberal. He served in the province's Executive Council from 1974 to 1978 as Minister of Fisheries and Minister of Labour and from 1978 to 1980 as Minister of Highways and Minister of Public Works. He resigned his seat in 1980 to enter federal politics.
In the House of Commons, he represented Prince Edward Island's Egmont electoral district where he won election in 1980 and 1984. Henderson left national politics in 1988 and did not campaign in that year's election after serving in the 31st and 32nd Canadian Parliaments.
Henderson was parliamentary secretary for the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans from 1980 to 1981 and for the Minister of Defence from 1982 to 1983.
His son Robert was elected to the Prince Edward Island legislative assembly on 28 May 2007, in that province's election.

Christopher George Henderson (19 August 1857 – 21 January 1933) was an English-born Australian politician. Born in Bedlington, he received a primary education before migrating to Australia in 1885. He was a coal miner in New South Wales and general secretary of the Illawarra Miners' Union. He moved to Western Australia around 1900, becoming a coal miner at Collie and serving on Collie Municipal Council. In 1903, he was elected to the Australian Senate as a Labor Senator for Western Australia. He served as Chairman of Committees from 1914 to 1917. Henderson left the Labor Party in the wake of the 1916 split over conscription, joining the new Nationalist Party. He remained a Nationalist Senator until his defeat in 1922. Henderson died in 1933.

George Henderson (bishop)
George Kennedy Buchanan Henderson (5 December 1922 – 26 September 1997) was a Scottish Anglican bishop in the 20th century. He was Bishop of Argyll and The Isles and elected Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church.
Henderson was educated at the University of Edinburgh and ordained in 1945. He began his ordained ministry with a curacy at Christ Church, Glasgow, after which he was the priest in charge of St Bride's Nether Lochaber and then the rector of St Andrew's Fort William. In 1973, he became Dean of the Diocese of Argyll and The Isles and was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 1974. In 1977 he became Bishop of Argyll and The Isles (diocesan bishop of the same diocese). He was elected Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church in 1990 and retired in 1992.

George Robin Henderson (23 April 1941 – 21 February 2016) was a Scots mathematician with a flair for music. Noted as an inspirational character in his field he taught at Boroughmuir High School, lectured at Napier College, consulted in statistics and published a book.
At Napier he developed a degree in mathematics and engineering technology. He played cornet and tuba, and through the 1980s and 90s as a member of the MacTaggart Scott Works Band he revived the band and pushed them to have a "positive impact on the community"
