Ken Wright (baseball)
Kenneth Warren Wright (September 4, 1946 – January 21, 2017) was a professional baseball pitcher. He played all or part of five seasons in Major League Baseball from 1970 to 1974 for the Kansas City Royals and New York Yankees.
After attending Escambia High School he was signed by the Boston Red Sox as an amateur free agent in 1964, Wright was selected from Boston in the rule 5 draft by the Kansas City Royals. He made his Major League Baseball debut with the Royals on April 10, 1970, and appeared in his final game on April 28, 1974, with the New York Yankees.
Wright died January 21, 2017.

Kenneth Lawrence Wright (16 May 1922 – 6 June 1994) was an English footballer who played as an inside-forward in the Football League for West Ham United.
As an amateur, Wright played for Cambridge Town. He served with the Royal Air Force during World War II where he rose to the rank of Flight Lieutenant and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.
He played wartime football for West Ham United, making seven appearances in the Football League South between 1943 and 1945 (including a return of five goal in five games in the 1945–46 season). He signed professional forms with the east London club in 1946, making his official debut on 7 September 1946 in a 0–2 home defeat against Leicester City.
He played for the Hammers for three seasons before leaving in 1949. He was the club's top scorer for the 1948–49 season with 11 goals. His overall tally for West Ham was 25 goals in 59 games.
He later rejoined the RAF after a knee injury forced his retirement from football, becoming an instructor with Bomber Command.

Kenneth Irving Mackenzie Wright (6 September 1925 – 14 December 2019), better known as Ken Wright, was an Australian politician.
Wright was born at Red Cliffs in September 1925 to Charles Kenneth Mackenzie Wright, a soldier settler and dried fruits grower, and Elsie Henshall. He attended local state schools, and then served in the RAAF as a pilot from 1943 to 1945. He worked as an estate agent and valuer. He was a member of the Country Party, and served on Mildura City Council from 1961 to 1973 (mayor 1966–67, 1968–70). From 1971 to 1972 he was state junior vice-president of the Country Party, becoming senior vice-president in 1973. In that year he was elected to the Victorian Legislative Council for North Western. He was Deputy President of the council from 1983 to 1985 and from 1988 until he retired from politics in 1992. Wright died in December 2019 at the age of 94.
