Kenny Williams (educator)
Kenny J. Williams (1927–2003) was an African American scholar and author, and an English professor at Duke University.
Williams was born in Kentucky, (hence the name "Kenny") and received her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1959. She was from 1977 until her death, a professor in Duke University's Department of English. Her father was Joseph Harrison Jackson, President of the National Baptist Convention from 1941 to 1990.
In 1986, she received the MidAmerica Award from the Society for the Study of Midwestern Literature for distinguished contributions to the study of same. Williams was appointed in 1991 to the National Council on the Humanities by President George H. W. Bush.
She was member of the Executive Board of the American Literature Association, and also served on the Council of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Kenny Williams or Ken Williams (April 12, 1914 – February 16, 1984), born Kenneth Williams Fertig Jr. in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, was an announcer for American television from the late 1940s to 1980s. He was best known as the announcer of many game shows produced by Merrill Heatter and Bob Quigley (including Hollywood Squares, High Rollers, Gambit and others). He also appeared on screen as "Kenny the Cop" on Video Village and Shenanigans. He did one show for Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Productions, Two for the Money, in 1952. As a radio actor in the 1940s to 1950s, he appeared on shows like X Minus One, where he played Rhysling on the episode "The Green Hills of Earth". He was also one of the announcers for the Buck Rogers radio program, among others. He died at home in Los Angeles, California on February 16, 1984.

Williams is also active in multiple promotions across the United Kingdom and Europe, such as Progress Wrestling, Premier British Wrestling, Preston City Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Elite, British Championship Wrestling, IPW:UK, Scottish Wrestling Alliance, and competed in Defiant Wrestling in the Pro Wrestling World Cup, representing Scotland, but is best known for his work in Insane Championship Wrestling, where he is a three-time ICW Zero-G Champion.
