Paul Stewart (actor)

Paul Stewart (born Paul Sternberg; March 13, 1908 – February 17, 1986) was an American character actor, director and producer who worked in theatre, radio, films and television. He frequently portrayed cynical and sinister characters throughout his career.

A friend and associate of Orson Welles for many years, Stewart helped Welles get his first job in radio and was associate producer of the celebrated radio program "The War of the Worlds", in which he also performed. One of the Mercury Theatre players who made their film debut in Welles's landmark film Citizen Kane, Stewart portrayed Kane's butler and valet, Raymond. He appeared in 50 films, and performed in or directed some 5,000 radio and television shows.

Paul Stewart (ice hockey)

Paul Stewart (born March 21, 1953) is an American former professional ice hockey player and referee. Inducted in the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018, he is the grandson of Bill Stewart.

Stewart played in both the World Hockey Association and the National Hockey League. He played with Mark Messier for the Cincinnati Stingers. His last season of professional hockey was 1979–80 with the Quebec Nordiques.

After his playing days ended, he had a lengthy career as an NHL referee. He officiated 1,010 regular season games, 49 playoff games, the 1987 Canada Cup, the 1991 Canada Cup and two All-Star games. He never wore a helmet during his officiating career. From the 1994–95 NHL season until his retirement in 2003, he wore uniform number 22.

Stewart is Men's and Women's League Director of Officiating for ECAC Hockey, and in 2012, also took on duties as a judicial and discipline consultant to the Kontinental Hockey League.

Paul Stewart (racing driver)

Paul Stewart (born 29 October 1965 in Dumbarton, Scotland) is a former racing driver and the son of three-times Formula One World Champion Jackie Stewart. Stewart competed in Formula Ford 2000 in 1988, the British Formula 3 Championship from 1989 to 1990 and in Formula 3000 from 1991 to 1993, both for his Paul Stewart Racing team. During the period, he was a teammate of Marco Apicella in 1991, David Coulthard in 1992 and Gil de Ferran in 1993. De Ferran won the first victory for the team in 1993. Thereafter, Stewart gave up his career as a driver and decided to concentrate on his role as team manager from 1994. The team won eight team championships in F3, 1992 to 1994, and 1996 to 2000.

In 1996, he and Jackie formed Stewart Grand Prix, which competed in Formula One from to . At the end of 1999, Ford purchased the team, which became Jaguar Racing from and subsequently Red Bull Racing in .

Paul Stewart (Australian footballer)

Paul Stewart (born 10 July 1987) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).

From Adelaide, Stewart started the 2006 SANFL season in the Woodville-West Torrens Under-19s, made his league debut during the season and by the end of year had played in Woodville-West Torrens successful Grand Final.

Stewart was drafted by Port Adelaide in the second round in the 2006 AFL Draft, pick number 23 overall. He was part of the young guns Port Adelaide recruited in the 2006 draft, with teammate Brett Ebert saying the group is the best recruits he has seen at the club in four years.

Stewart, who has played either in the midfield/wing or as a forward, and was already a fan of Port Adelaide before being drafted.

After spending the 2007 AFL season continuing to play with Woodville-West Torrens, Stewart made his senior AFL debut in round 1, 2008 against reigning premiers Geelong. Stewart had a very good debut gaining a very respectable 18 disposals, with 7 kicks, 11 handballs and 5 marks. In round 15, 2012 in Showdown 33 he was placed as forward. He kicked 4 goals the highest by a Port Adelaide player in that game. Even though Port Adelaide lost by 58, they named him as a forward the next game and he booted 2 goals. In round 17, he became a star forward getting a five goal haul to help Port Adelaide defeat Melbourne by 28 points.

At the conclusion of the 2016 season, Stewart was delisted by Port Adelaide.

Paul Stewart (endocrinologist)

Paul Michael Stewart FMedSci FRCP (b. 6 July 1959) is Dean of Medicine and Health at the University of Leeds and an Honorary Consultant Endocrinologist at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He is also currently Vice President of the Academy of Medical Sciences and the editor-in-chief of The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism.

Stewart is the primary investigator for the National Institute for Health Research Musculoskeletal Biomedical Research Unit in Leeds, and specialises in the role of hormones in human aging, obesity and reproductive medicine. He is also a National Institute for Health Research Senior Clinical Investigator, and leads a group researching a class of steroid hormones known as corticosteriods and their role in human disease. He is an elected fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the Academy of Medical Sciences.

He delivered the 1997 Goulstonian Lecture at the Royal College of Physicians.
