Paul Wright (singer)
Paul Wright is an American musician originally from Eugene, Oregon. His debut album, Fly Away, was recorded in Oregon with Christopher Stevens and released in 2003. He graduated from Northwest Christian University with a degree in Communications after spending a semester studying at the Contemporary Music Center in Martha's Vineyard.
His 2008 album is titled Diego's Diary. He is also on the tobyMac's albums Welcome to Diverse City and Renovating Diverse City. He was signed to Gotee Records. In October 2009, he led a songwriting workshop in Thailand.
Wright also recently released some singles which were custom songs he wrote for his fans. He offers his fans the opportunity to purchase an original song in which he writes and records their story for them.

Sir Paul Hervé Giraud Wright KCMG, OBE (12 May 1915 – 10 June 2005) was a British diplomat who served as ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo and to Lebanon.
His wife Beatrice ("Babs"), whom he married in 1942, had succeeded her late husband John Rathbone as Member of Parliament for Bodmin, but did not contest the 1945 general election. They had one child together; she had two children by her previous marriage, including Tim, who later become a Conservative MP.
However, Wright did contest the 1945 general election as Liberal candidate for Bethnal Green North East finishing second.
After retiring from the diplomatic service in 1975, Wright was appointed as honorary secretary general of the celebration committee for the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977, and arranged the music for the occasion. He was a governor of Westminster School and Westminster Cathedral Choir School, and chairman of the Anglo-Lebanese Society.
His wife Beatrice died in 2003, two years before him. They had both converted to Roman Catholicism.

While working at Radio Corporation of America (RCA), Wright was instrumental in developing semiconductor devices for thermoelectric cooling and electrical generation on spacecraft, improving early night vision technology, and semi-conductor amplifiers for communication satellites. Later, he served as Senior Vice President of RCA, Chairman and C.O.O. of Fairchild Industries, and Chairman of Chrysler Technologies.
