Samuel Jackson (cricketer)
Samuel Robinson Jackson (15 July 1859 – 19 July 1941) was an English first-class cricketer, who played one game for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1891. A right-handed batsman, he scored 9 and a duck in the Roses Match at Old Trafford, which Lancashire won by an innings and 49 runs. He fared better in a non first-class match against Leicestershire at Headingley in the same year, scoring an unbeaten 54 out of Yorkshire's first innings of 156 and 15 in the second innings. Leicestershire won by one wicket. Reputed to be a right arm fast bowler, Jackson did not bowl in either of these games.
Born in Ecclesall, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, Jackson died in July 1941 in Leeds, Yorkshire.

Samuel Jacob Jackson (February 18, 1848 – May 29, 1942) was a Canadian politician.
Born in Stradbally, Queen's County, Ireland, the son of Samuel Jackson and Elizabeth Sutcliffe, Jackson was educated at Brampton and at Brantford, Ontario. He moved west to Manitoba in 1871. Jackson later became a partner in a mercantile firm in Winnipeg. In 1878, he married Ida Isabella Clark. Jackson later moved to Stonewall, where he was a merchant and mill owner.
He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba for the electoral district of Rockwood in 1883, 1884, 1886, 1888, 1892 and 1896. He was defeated in 1899. From 1891 to 1895, he was the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.
He was first returned to House of Commons of Canada in the general elections of 1904 for the riding of Selkirk. A Liberal, he was defeated in 1908. He was an Alderman in the Winnipeg City Council in 1877, 1878 and 1880. Jackson was chairman of the Board of Works for Winnipeg in 1882.

Samuel Jackson (16 April 1831 – 29 July 1913) was a solicitor in Auckland, New Zealand. He worked in his profession until shortly before his death and was at the time the oldest practising solicitor in the country, and was regarded as the father of his profession in his city. He joined the solicitor Frederick Merriman and they called their firm Merriman & Jackson. Upon Merriman's death in 1865, he took on a new partner and the firm was renamed Jackson Russell, by which name it is still known today. In his younger years, he was involved in provincial politics.

Samuel Cram Jackson
Samuel Cram Jackson or Samuel C. Jackson (March 13, 1802 – July 26, 1878) was an American Congregational minister.
Jackson, son of Reverend Dr. William Jackson, was born at Dorset, Vermont, March 13, 1802. He graduated from Middlebury College in 1821, and studied for some time in the law school at New Haven, Conn.; graduated from Andover Theological Seminary in 1826; was ordained June 6 of the following year as pastor of West Church, in Andover, from which he was, dismissed in September 1850, and became assistant secretary of the State Board of Education, also acting librarian of the State Library of Massachusetts, which office he held until 1877. He died July 26, 1878.
Dr. Jackson published, Blessings of the Year, a sermon at West Andover, December 30, 1827: — Funeral Discourse of Reverend S.G.
