Thomas White (Australian politician)
Sir Thomas Walter White, (26 April 1888 – 13 October 1957) was an Australian politician and pilot in the First World War. In 1914 he became one of the first airmen trained for the Australian Flying Corps (AFC), and the following year he was among the first AFC members to see action when he was deployed to the Middle East with the Mesopotamian Half Flight. After carrying out several missions behind Turkish lines, he was captured in November 1915 but escaped in July 1918. White was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and twice mentioned in despatches for his war service. He married Vera Deakin, a Red Cross worker and daughter of former Australian Prime Minister Alfred Deakin, in 1920.
White began his parliamentary career in 1929 when he was elected to the House of Representatives as the Member for Balaclava in Victoria. He served as Minister for Trade and Customs in Joseph Lyons's United Australia Party government from 1933 to 1938, but resigned when he was excluded from Lyons's inner cabinet. He joined the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) shortly after the outbreak of the Second World War and saw service in Australia and the United Kingdom. Returning to parliament as a member of the newly formed Liberal Party in 1945, he served as Minister for Air and Minister for Civil Aviation in Robert Menzies's government from 1949 to 1951. His term coincided with the commitment of RAAF squadrons to the Korean War and the Malayan Emergency. Australia's high commissioner to the United Kingdom from 1951 to 1956, White was knighted in 1952 and died in October 1957.

Thomas White (born 30 April 1984) is an English, Brighton-based songwriter, singer, musician, producer and visual artist. Along with their brother, Alex, they form the nucleus of psych-pop band The Electric Soft Parade. To date, they have released four albums and a six-track EP. They also contributes vocals and guitar to cult Brighton super-group Brakes, and drums and bass to Restlesslist and Clowns respectively.
Besides performing solo and in their own groups, White regularly appears as a session player for, among others, Patrick Wolf, British Sea Power, Levellers and Sparks.

Thomas Penny White (1777, Marylebone, London - 24 July 1845, Winchester) was an English clergyman.
Thomas Penny White was born in 1777 in Marylebone, London. He attended Queens' College, Cambridge and graduated B.A. 1802 (Senior Wrangler) and M.A. 1805. He became a Fellow of the College and presented a £30 annual prize. He was Minister of St John the Baptist's Chapel, Winchester, Rector of Droxford, Hampshire.
On 3 December 1812 he married Charlotte Eliza Channing - she was born in 1791 - at St Mary's Church, Marylebone Road, London. They had at least two sons, one, Arthur David White, born 1815 who died in 1899.
Thomas Penny died at his house in Winchester on 24 July 1845. Charlotte outlived him by nearly sixteen years dying at Notting Hill, London on 16 January 1861.

Thomas Reginald White (3 July 1892 – 7 May 1979) was an English cricketer. White was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium. He was born at Basingstoke, Hampshire.
White made a single first-class appearance for Sussex against Cambridge University in 1928. In this match, he scored 9 runs in Sussex's first-innings, before being dismissed by Denis Blundell, while in their second-innings he was dismissed him for 4 by Maurice Allom. Cambridge University won the match by 71 runs.
He died at Camden, London on 7 May 1979.
