Andrew Lewis (soldier)
Andrew Lewis (October 9, 1720 – September 26, 1781) was an Irish-born American pioneer, surveyor, military officer and politician in Colonial Virginia and during the American Revolutionary War. A colonel of militia during the French and Indian War, and brigadier general in the American Revolutionary War, his most famous victory was the Battle of Point Pleasant in Dunmore's War in 1774, although he also drove Lord Dunmore's forces from Norfolk and Gwynn's Island in 1776. He also helped found Liberty Hall (later Washington and Lee University) in 1776.

Andrew Lewis (soccer)
Andrew Lewis (born September 10, 1974) is a retired American soccer defender who played professionally in Major League Soccer.
In 1993, Lewis graduated from the Pingry School. He then played college soccer at Princeton University from 1993 to 1995. He was a 1994 Third Team All American.
In February 1997, the MetroStars selected Lewis in third round (twenty-fifth overall) of the 1997 MLS College Draft. He played nineteen games for the MetroStars. On November 6, 1997, the Chicago Fire selected Lewis with the seventeenth pick of the 1997 MLS Expansion Draft. He spent four injury marred seasons in Chicago, where he was known as "The Bull", before being released on January 15, 2002. On March 22, 2002, he signed with the Charleston Battery of the USL A-League. In 2004, he played for the Atlanta Silverbacks.

Andrew Leighton Paul Lewis (born 13 June 1973) is a former Welsh international rugby union player who went to school at Christ College, Brecon. Lewis made 29 appearances for the national team, and spent his entire club playing career at Cardiff, firstly at Cardiff RFC and then at Cardiff Blues following the introduction of regional rugby in Wales.
Lewis joined the Cardiff RFC team in 1992. He was first called up to the Wales national team in August 1995 as part of the squad for Wales' tour of South Africa. His début for Wales came in 1996 against Italy. He played his initial games for Wales as prop, but at the instigation of Wales coach Graham Henry, switched to the position of hooker. He was included in Wales' squad for the 1999 Rugby World Cup, and played in three matches as a replacement. His final appearance for Wales was as a replacement against Romania in November 2002.
He played for Cardiff in the 1996 Heineken Cup Final loss to Toulouse, and was a member of the squad that won the 1999–2000 Welsh-Scottish League title.
Despite plans to retire from rugby at the end of the 2004-05 season, Lewis finished his playing career in early 2005 after taking medical advice.
