Timothy Jones (cyclist)
Timothy Jones (born 1 August 1975 in Harare) is a Zimbabwean professional road racing cyclist. He has raced in Europe for ten years, for Amore E Vita, Mobilvetta, Mercury, Domina Vacanze and Tenax professional cycling teams.
His most notable victories are stage 3 of the 2003 Settimana Ciclista Lombarda, Tour of Slovenia (1999), Giro Del Capo (1998) in South Africa and the 2001 Giro dell'Etna in Italy where he beat Davide Rebellin and Ivan Basso. He is the first Zimbabwean to compete in a Grand Tour, finishing 73rd in the 2001 Giro d'Italia. Jones brother, Nathan represented Zimbabwe at the 1991 Cycling Junior World Championships that were held in Colorado USA, his youngest brother Adam is a notable publisher and editor of Wealth Magazine in Botswana. He is also the brother-in-law of Italian cyclists Antonio and Ivan Fanellii. In the late 1990s Jones tested positive for elevated levels of hematocrit.

Timothy David Jones (born 26 April 1978) is a former English cricketer. Jones was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born at South Shields, Tyne and Wear.
Jones represented the Essex Cricket Board in 3 List A matches. These came against Ireland in the 1999 NatWest Trophy, the Lancashire Cricket Board and Warwickshire, both of which came in the 2000 NatWest Trophy. In his 3 List A matches, he scored 46 runs at a batting average of 23.00, with a high score of 29*. With the ball he took 4 wickets at a bowling average of 26.75, with best figures of 2/36.

Timothy Douglas Booth Jones (born 6 August 1952) is a former English cricketer. Booth Jones was a right-handed batsman. He was born at Dover, Kent, and was educated at Hastings Grammar School, before attending St Luke's, Exeter. He now teaches History at a school in Tunbridge Wells.
Booth Jones made his first-class debut for Sussex against Kent in the 1980 County Championship. Booth Jones made 25 further first-class appearances for Sussex, the last of which came against Kent in the 1981 County Championship. In his 26 first-class appearances, he scored a total of 1,034 runs at an average of 24.04, with a high score of 95. This score was one of seven fifties he made and came against Somerset in 1981. He made his List A debut against Yorkshire in the 1980 John Player League. He made nine further List A appearances for Sussex, the last of which came against Leicestershire in the 1981 Benson & Hedges Cup. In his ten List A matches, he scored a total of 110 runs at an average of 13.75, with a high score of 30.
